of the International College of Iridology, Inc.
(not-for-profit) has established the following
criteria leading to the designation, Board Certified
Iridologist.

15
hours of study in basic iridology with passing
score on examination. CNHP 100 or equivalent. |
Associate
Status |
Completion
of Enrolled Student requirements and 15 hours
of further study in basic iridology with passing
score on examination. CNHP 200 or Level I of
Distance Education in Holistic Iridology®. |
Academic
Status |
Completion
of Associate Status requirements and 15 hours
of level three advanced study, CNHP 300 or equivalent. |
Colleague
in Iridology |
Completion
of Academic Status requirements and 15 hours
of level four advanced study, CNHP 400 or Level
II of Distance Education in Holistic Iridology®. |
Professional
Iridologist |
Completion
of Colleague in Iridology requirements and attendance
at a “live”, 5-day seminar, Level
III in Holistic Iridology®. Upon successful
completion of the oral and written exams, the
student will earn a certificate for the study
of Advanced Iridology. |
Diplomat
in Iridology |
To
achieve this distinction the student will successfully
complete the course work for all levels of instruction
as previously set forth. In addition, an anatomy
and physiology course, approved by the ICI, must
be successfully completed. This course may be
taken on-campus or via a distance education format.
There is also a practical exam to be completed
outside of class time. This exam consists of
the student performing a detailed analysis of
several pairs of eyes utilizing the assessment
system taught. |
Board
Certified Iridologist |
• Hold
a Diploma of Holistic Iridology® or equivalent.
• Hold an advanced college degree or professional
school training, i.e. N.D., Ph.D., D.O., M.D.,
O.D., D.Ac., O.M.D., D.Sc., D.C., D.D.S., D.V.M.,
M.A., M.S., M.S.W., R.N. Also includes: Master
Herbalist, Homoeopath, Massage Therapist, Colon
Hydrotherapist, Nutritionist, and other licensed
health care professionals.
• Two years of clinical experience in iridology
after earning diploma
• Must be using a 35mm or digital imaging
system to do their work
• Submit 3 case studies including photos
from clinical practice
• Board Certification Exam - which will include
3 pairs of irises for analysis and a written exam |
Equivalent
Categories |
• IIPA
certified iridologists are admitted to the Academic
Status.
• Distance learning instruction from Trinity
College of Natural Health, Level I is equivalent
to Associate Status; Level II is equivalent to
Colleague in Iridology.
• Distance education courses in Holistic
Iridology® through the International Institute
of Iridology®, Level I is equivalent to Associate
Status; Level II is equivalent to Colleague in
Iridology. |
| Other
distinctions upon the recommendation of the
Commission on Recognition and Accreditation,
the Board of Governors may bestow upon individuals
the following status: International Fellow
or Honorary Membership. |
